Brecciated Mooakite is a Jasper from Australia and named for the area it is from; Mooka Creek on Mooka Station in the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction. The Aboriginal word "mooka" means running waters.  This stone ranges in color from white, cream, golden, brown and burgundy and was broken up under pressure and cemented together creating a mosaic look thousands of years ago.  Like mosaic tile this large Brecciated Mooakite stone is bezel set in a simple Sterling Silver setting with a pleasing Pearl places atop the bail letting these soft and subtle stones to be the focal in this design.  It is perfect for many occasions!

Brecciated jasper is considered a good grounding and protection stone. It is believed to enhance organization abilities and promotes emotional stability. It is also thought to help with physical endurance, dehydration and animal allergies.
