These earrings are subtle yet stunning!  Brecciated Mooakite is a Jasper from Australia and named for the area it is from; Mooka Creek on Mooka Station in the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction. The Aboriginal word "mooka" means running waters.  The stone typically ranges in color from white, cream, golden, brown and burgundy. The Brecciated type was broken up under pressure and cemented together creating a mossaic look thousands of years ago.  In these earrings, a citrine is the perfect compliment to these stones and a simple Sterling Silver bezel let the stones be the focal in this design.  They are light weight and perfect for many occasions!

Brecciated jasper is considered a good grounding and protection stone. It is believed to enhance organization abilities and promotes emotional stability. It is also thought to help with physical endurance, with dehydration and animal allergies.
