It’s like looking into the the Caribbean Sea from atop a house boat. A large fancy cut Larimar stone is absolutely stunning with various shades of ocean blue and white.  It sits below a bail that is accented by a Blue Topaz stone. A Simple and contemporary design with a great stone pairing that makes an interesting pendant.  Light weight and easy to wear all day long.

Larimar is also known as the Dolphin Stone, Blue Pectolite, Atlantis Stone, and Stefilia’s Stone. Originally discovered in 1916, it was named by the Dominican who re-discovered it in 1974, taking the first letters of his daughter’s name, Larissa, and the Spanish word for the sea, mar, to create Larimar.  It is only found in the Dominican Republic and is a very rare blue variety of Pectolite.

Larimar is said to enlighten and heal in a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual way. It stimulates the heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras facilitating inner wisdom and outer manifestation. It represents peace and clarity, radiating healing and love energy.
