Brecciated Mooakite is a Jasper from Australia and named for the area it is from; Mooka Creek on Mooka Station in the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction. The Aboriginal word "mooka" means running waters.  The stone typically ranges in color from white, cream, golden, brown and burgundy. The Brecciated type was broken up under pressure and naturally cemented together creating a mosaic look, thousands of years ago.  Like a mosaic window, this Brecciated Mooakite stone is bezel set in a simple Sterling Silver setting letting this soft and subtle stone to be the focal in this design.  It is light weight and perfect for many occasions!

Brecciated jasper is considered a good grounding and protection stone. It is believed to enhance organization abilities and promotes emotional stability. It is also thought to help with physical endurance, with dehydration and animal allergies.
