Fossil coral is a natural stone that is formed when ancient coral is gradually replaced with agate. The proper name for this material is agatized coral or agatized fossil coral. The fossilized coral typically appears as small flower-like patterns in the stone. This amazing stone is from Indonesia and exhibits exceptional contrast revealing its' delicate floral pattern. The square cut stones are bezel set in Sterling Silver and dangle from a French ear wire.  A nice neutral color that goes with almost anything.
