This wonderfully contemporary Heart shaped pendant boasts a fabulous Labradorite stone with a lot of flash of blues, teals and gold. So much labradorescence the stone seems to be alive with color!  The stone is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, and pale green. The predominant blue varies within the light, displaying hues from deepest blue to various shades of pale, almost blue-green.  Surprisingly light weight, you won’t even you know you have this one of a kind pendant on! Labradorite is named for where it was found in Labrador, a Canadian province on the Isle of Paul. Inuits once called labradorite a "fire stone" and would use powdered forms to help cure ailments. According to Inuit legend, a warrior saw the Northern Lights trapped in the rocks and struck them with his spear to free some of the lights. 

Labradorite is considered a tremendously spiritual stone, especially helpful for people who tend to overwork. It helps an individual regain energy while aiding the body and spirit in healing itself.
