Mooakite is a Jasper from Australia and named for the area it is from; Mooka Creek on Mooka Station in the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction. The Aboriginal word "mooka" means running waters.  The stone typically ranges in color from white, cream, golden, brown and burgundy. This Mooakite stone is bezel set in a simple Sterling Silver setting allowing this magnificent stone to be the focal. The elongated shape if this ring is fascinating along with the sleek split band. The random golden blocks of color through the rich burgundy is just stunning.  A great everyday ring.
